I've been working out my entire life. I've played major college basketball, I've studied martial arts, I've surfed all over the world, and I've played every recreational sport you can think of. For the last 10 years I've been working out with Chanda at Core Sport. I originally met Chanda when she was teaching at Gold's/Spectrum. When she left I was adrift. There just wasn't anyone else who brought the energy and knowledge that she did or who could get me to work as hard as she could. My overall conditioning, and particularly my posture, was deteriorating. Then I ran into her and found out she was starting her own studio. After an introductory workout on the reformer I was sold, and the rest, as they say, is history. Everyone at Core Sport is great; Chanda is the greatest. It is hard to summarize the benefits I've gotten from Core Sport, but I'm very pleased, to say the least. I'm strong, my posture is probably better than its ever been, and I feel good. It doesn't get much better than that in my book. I highly recommend Core Sport to anyone looking for a superlative workout in a great, friendly atmosphere, taught to the appropriate level with care, consideration, and intelligence. Whatever your level of fitness, whatever your objectives, Core Sport will get you where you want to be.

I have been a member at Core Sport for 3 years now and it is hands down the best fitness studio in Santa Barbara. I have seen excellent results. Chanda has an exceptional ability to inspire and motivate you in a way that helps to get the best results from a workout. The workouts are always fun and challenging with a good variety. Her team of instructors is also very dedicated and positive and pay attention to every client even in a group class.
Core Sport's warm and welcoming environment motivates me to go for a 6 am class everyday which is not easy when you are mom to a toddler.
