A week ago Saturday, I came out from the store and found my car wouldn't start, not even a weak attempt. Jump starting didn't help; I thought it might be the starter. I called Dave's Auto Repair and Towing, and David showed up soon and helped get the car started. I followed him to the garage, where the car died again pulling into the driveway. David and his crew quickly checked the starter, the alternator, and the battery and found that the problem that the battery was completely toast. I'm not a car guy, but I have an engineering background and was satisfied with their troubleshooting and diagnosis. They swapped in a new battery and got me back on my way, without recommending any upsells or unnecessary repairs as so many mechanics seem to push.
