Recently, I called my 10+ year go-to Santa Barbara VW service mechanic to make an annual car appointment and was informed by a prerecorded message that they had closed after 23 years. I was shocked and uncertain what to do or where I could get my car serviced.

I went online and searched for someone in Santa Barbara who could service my VW; was relatively close by; and could be trusted to give me quality service at a reasonable price. Luckily, I found Haik's German Autohaus website which was very informative about all servicing and conveniently located near the 101 freeway just off Garden on Cota Street.

I gave Haik a call and found him to be very pleasant, friendly, informative and accommodating and scheduled a 30,000 service for the following week. I was told what to expect and given a fair estimate of the cost.

I dropped off my car first thing in the morning that week and was promptly called once he was able to assess what needed to be done. I was told that I would be able to pick up my car earlier than expected and wouldn’t need to wait hours in town while the car was being serviced since I live in Carpinteria. He had rearranged his daily schedule to accommodate me, and I was able to pick up my car sooner than expected.

I am so relieved to find Haik's and can rest assured that he will be there when I need to bring my car in for servicing. Thank you Haik for saving the day!!
